Chief Minister Punjab for immediately curbing the menace of overpricing and hoarding of fertilizers

Lahore, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz has directed the provincial administration to eradicate the hoarding and overpricing of fertilizers without delay and added that their availability at a controlled rate should be ensured. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the CM said that legal action be initiated against those involved in selling fertilizers at exorbitant rates and its sale be regularly monitored through an effective mechanism. Pakistan Army establishes Relief camp for drought-hit people of Cholistan

Islamabad, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pakistan Army has established Relief Camp for the drought-affected people of Cholistan with the joint collaboration of civil administration Bahawalpur to provide medical and relief facilities to the people. According to Spokesman of Bahawalpur Corps, a forty-two bed capacity heat stroke center has also been established at the free medical and drought relief camp at Chanan Pir area of Cholistan. Federal Cabinet approves amount worth Rs 150,000 for each intending pilgrim 

Islamabad, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):The Federal Cabinet has approved 150,000 rupees' support amount for each intending pilgrim to provide relief to them. This was announced by Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Mufti Abdul Shakoor, while talking to media in Islamabad on Tuesday afternoon. He said Hajj expenses were over eight hundred thousand rupees and now this cost will be around seven hundred thousand rupees. Pakistan, India reiterate commitment to implement Indus Waters Treaty

Islamabad, May 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pakistan and India have reiterated their commitment to implement the Indus Waters Treaty in its true spirit. The resolve was expressed during the two-day meeting of Pakistan-India Permanent Indus Commission that concluded in New Delhi on Tuesday to discuss issues pertaining to sharing of water resources under the Indus Water Treaty. Planning Minister directs to complete all ongoing projects under PSDP
