Chinese, Spanish firms to operate solid waste management operation in Central, Korangi Chinese firm to install 400 MW waste-to-energy plant

Karachi, July 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):The Sindh government, through solid waste Management board (SSWMB), has signed two separate agreements of solid waste management operation with Chinese and Spanish firms to lifting and dumping 3500 tons of garbage from districts, Korangi and Central from the second week of August. COVID-19 claims 17 more patients, infects 1,247 others

Karachi, July 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):As many as 17 more patients of Coronavirus died overnight lifting the death toll to 5,737 and 1,247 new cases emerged when 11,794 tests were conducted. This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here on Monday. He added that 17 more patients of COVID-19 lost their lives lifting the death toll to 5,737 that constituted 1.6 percent death rate.
