Murad Ali Shah approves taking over federally controlled 4,192 non-formal schools

Karachi, July 01, 2021 (PPI-OT):Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah as per decision taken in the 42th Council of Common Interest (CCI) has approved taking over 4192 non-formal schools being run by the federal government and decided to enhance the salaries of teachers from Rs8000 to Rs25,000.   He accorded this approval while presiding over a meeting here at CM House on Thursday. COVID-19 claims 14 more patients, infects 713 others

Karachi, July 01, 2021 (PPI-OT):As many as 14 more patients of Coronavirus died overnight lifting the death toll to 5,478 and 713 new cases emerged when 13,935 tests were conducted. This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here on Thursday. He added that 14 more patients of COVID-19 lost their lives lifting the death toll to 5,478 that constituted 1.6 percent death rate. FBR registers historic growth of 18% in Financial Year 2020-21 

Islamabad, July 01, 2021 (PPI-OT):Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has released the provisional revenue collection figures for the Fiscal Year 2020-21. According to the provisional information, FBR has collected net revenue of Rs. 4,732 billion during Jul-June period, which has exceeded the target of Rs.4, 691 billion by Rs. 41 billion. This represents a growth of about 18% over the collection of Rs. 3,997 billion during the same period last year.   The net collection for the month of June was Rs. 568 billion representing an increase of 26% over Rs. 451 billion collected in June 2020.
