Lahore, November 05, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 27700 cusecs and Outflows 45000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 2900 cusecs and Outflows 2900 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 6000 cusecs and Outflows 30000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 8800 cusecs and Outflows 2000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 56700 cusecs and Outflows 51200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 47900 cusecs and Outflows 38000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 36900 cusecs and Outflows 36400 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 6000 cusecs and Outflows 2000 cusecs Guddu: Inflows 38200 cusecs and Outflows 32000 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 33000 cusecs and Outflows 6600 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 8300 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1475.87 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 2.470 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1176.00 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.106 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.30 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.100MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
