Lahore, September 30, 2017 (PPI-OT):The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 58400 cusecs and Outflows 85000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 6300 cusecs and Outflows 6300 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 8800 cusecs and Outflows 55000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 18900 cusecs and Outflows 4000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 98900 cusecs and Outflows 91400 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 103400 cusecs and Outflows 95000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 91300 cusecs and Outflows 73700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 13400 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 78600 cusecs and Outflows 63300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 61500 cusecs and Outflows 12800 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 27200 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1500.15 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.546 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1203.50 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.608MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 640.20feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.041 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
