Srinagar, September 01, 2016 (PPI-OT):In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have booked eight persons including senior Hurriyet leader, Dr Ghulam Muhammad Hubbi under the draconian law Public Safety Act (PSA) across the territory. A senior Hurriyet leader Dr Ghulam Muhammad Hubbi was arrested by Indian police on 24 August 2016 from his residence at Charar-e-Sharief in Budgam district.
He has been booked under PSA of which orders were passed by DC Budgam on 30 August 2016 and was shifted to Kotbalwal Central Jail, Jammu, a police officer told media men. Meanwhile, police booked other eight persons under black law including Tehreek-e-Hurriyet activist Tariq Ganai of Shopian, Irshad Ahmad Malla of Sangran Shopian and Bilal War of Heerpora Shopian. A police official said that some youth had been evading arrests and they would also be booked under Public Safety Act.
