Lahore, October 01, 2017 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 58200 cusecs and Outflows 85000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 6100 cusecs and Outflows 6100 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 7100 cusecs and Outflows 55000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 18900 cusecs and Outflows 4000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 92900 cusecs and Outflows 85400 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 92100 cusecs and Outflows 90000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 91300 cusecs and Outflows 73700 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 14400 cusecs and Outflows Nil Guddu: Inflows 71100 cusecs and Outflows 55200 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 58200 cusecs and Outflows 11900 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 25800 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1498.96 maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.491 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1202.05 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.513MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 639.70feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.034 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
