OIC chief condemns killing of four soldiers by gunmen in Sinai

Jeddah (IINA) - The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the terrorist attack that resulted in the killing of four soldiers by gunmen in northern Sinai, Egypt on Wednesday.

OIC Secretary General Dr Yousef Al-Othaimeen offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the Egyptian government, reaffirming the solidarity of the Organization and its stand with Egypt in facing terrorism and extremism that aim at destabilising its security and stability.

He also affirmed the OIC's support for all the measures taken by Egypt in order to counter the plans of the terrorist groups and organisations in a way preserving security and stability and assuring the safety of its citizens.

The OIC chief reiterated the principled position of the Organization, which condemns all acts of terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and manifestations.
