Punjab government has constructed around seven thousand kilometers carpeted roads in rural areas of the province which will help boost the agriculture sector.
This has been stated by PML- N leaders and lawmakers in an interview in Lahore on Saturday.
Member National Assembly Sardar Awais Leghari said Khadim-e-Punjab Rural Roads Programme is a unique and innovative initiative which will help transform life-style of the rural population.
MPA Rana Mehmoodul Hasan said the Punjab government so far has spent more than sixty-seven billion rupees on the construction of roads across the province.
Chairman Evacuee Trust Property Board Siddiqul Farooq said that development projects worth billions of rupees are a symbol of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's love for people living in south Punjab.
